Is the newsletter pop-up driving you away? I noticed the blog’s dropping in numbers these past few weeks. Should I take the newsletter off? I don’t want to drive anyone away! Or is it just the usual summertime slow-down?
Thanks,
Traci

Could be both – I generally ignore the pop-ups, but am less deterred by the ones that come at the ‘end’ of the read.

I agree with cagedunn—the arrival of summer always takes a toll on traffic. I do get annoyed by pop-up subscriptions, but if they’re delayed until the end of a read, I’m less likely to be aggravated by them. 🙂

People are usually away once summer starts. I wouldn’t worry.

I have noticed that a few regular bloggers are away at the moment, Traci. I think there are troughs and peaks with blogging.

Yeah, I’m hearing that a lot. I just didn’t want to annoy anyone with the newsletter popups.
