I was blessed to be part
of a relationship, the
greatest a living being
can ever know

I was changed by three
simple words given by
One who promised to never
let me go

He touched my heart
changing me completely
from selfish to a very
selfless one

And by doing a single
transaction on earth
into my life He allowed
His love to come

Even at night while I
am still sleeping, He will
awaken me by calling my
name

And I lovingly embrace
the pure grace of the
One who in my life has
brought lasting change

Even still as if it was
the very first time
my heart daily sings to
Him songs of joy

For in my life I am blessed
with a most precious treasure
who each day I will seek to
employ

For Jesus is the one true
answer to all the problems
in life…
